"As the World Turns" will end its 54-year run with major star power as Julianne Moore is returning to the small screen to reprise her role on the show that helped launch her career more than 20 years ago, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed.

The Oscar-nominated actress will have a walk-on appearance on the CBS soap, where she'll meet her former character's parents.
